Nagasawa Stationery Center Co., the stationery specialty store in Kobe celebrates the 136th anniversary of foundation. The fountain pen named "Kobe scenery" commemorating the 136th anniversary is now on sale.
This fountain pen is the one that expresses the scenery of Kobe as it is named.
The cityscape of Kobe is on the stopper, and Kobe Port Tower reflects the light of fireworks is on the converter.
The design is based on Nakaya Writer Portable Kuro-tamenuri made by Nakaya fountain pen. The stopper prevents rolling is made of sterling silver. Also on the side of the main body, the words of the 136th anniversary and its serial number are engraved.
Ebonite is used as the material of the shaft. Ebonite is a difficult material for processing and requires high level of skill for manufacturing, but it’s durable which doesn’t suffer from the acid of inks, and less dimensional change due to the aging degradation. We can say it is one of the best materials for fountain pen shafts.
Originally it is jet black, but it becomes brown across the ages and it’s one of the enjoyable points. Because it’s a limited item, it should be sold out soon. I would recommend you to get it as soon as possible. Please don’t miss it!
